Beech, native to Europe, Asia and North America,is one of the hardest wood species. It is strong, durable and is commonly used for furniture and flooring. It has a uniform texture with a straight grain, has a great workability and is the most inexpensive hardwood available. Beech is also sustainable and not currently listed as an endangered species.
HALT uses BURNBLOCK – an environmentally friendly, natural fire retardant, to treat beech and many other wood types. BURNBLOCK is certified to the highest European fire ratings to ensure fire safety compliance on timber projects.
