TIMBER TREATMENT FOR THE DEAN GALWAY
The first two phases of the magnificent 100 bedroom Dean Galway has been completed with all internal timber being impregnated with BURNBLOCK’s 100% natural, environmentally fire retardant.
The project - for Pure Fitout - included the treating of timber within the bespoke bar areas, wooden wall paneling and ceiling detailing of the stunning Sophie’s Rooftop Restaurant, Elephant and Castle and the hotel lobby, bedrooms, suites and penthouse. The impregnation process protects the treated materials from combustion as it absorbs a portion of the heat and helps prevent further occurrence and the spread of fire.
The third and final phase of hotel is underway with work continuing throughout the summer and includes an event space, luxury health club and snug bar which will also include further timber treated at HALT’s Belfast facility.
